Hope you have all coped with getting back into routine this week. It is hard getting back out and seeing everyone with faces covered...are they smiling or scowling at me?! We pray for each one of you as we once again worship online in our loungerooms this weekend. We rest knowing that the family of God is not a bond easily broken. I encourage you to reach out to someone in our community this weekend. There are people struggling financially, emotionally, physically and in lots of ways we would not even know. We all have gifts to give, big or small. Please ask God who He may be calling you to serve. It may be as simple as a text or phone call...God will show you! Let's keep our community strong until we are able to meet again.
Following are some ideas of how to make the story of Hannah and Samuel come alive for the younger members of our community. 1 Samuel 1-2:12.
We can feel peace and rest in God's goodness as we hand everything over to Him. Trust Him.

You may like to make a family prayer jar, writing down your prayers and handing them over to God. Go through them weekly and see how they have been answered or if you are still waiting on God like Hannah. Play a family game of trust. Blind fold a member and set up an obstacle course to guide them through verbally. How difficult is it to trust and listen! Resad through the verses together and talk about things that stood out, challenged you or does not make sense. The conversation will surprise you! God bless your week ahead. We pray for God's will to be done. We do hope to SEE you all next week, but if not, keep in touch and walk closely with your Saviour. We are here if you Need ANYTHING. There will be a new online mainly music for people to access this week....let's learn about some more instruments! Again we are hoping to meet in person next week but it's in God's hands. We will let you know. We need the singing restriction and the 1person/4sq m restriction to be lifted.
